First Fruits Friday - Her Heart Was Saved

As with this family, God can turn around any situation. He can change any heart. This grandmother came to Seneca that day holding her new granddaughter.  She loves her.  I introduced myself and welcomed her; I gave her a tour of Seneca; and I introduced the rest of the team. She thanked us for helping her daughter, and she told me that God sent us to be in her daughter’s life at a time she needed help the most, and that she will never forget.

Here at Seneca, God is our provider. We believe it and we see it every day when women in crisis come to our door and seek our help. Everyday, we encounter women with different needs - material, financial, spiritual and we are there for them.  As our sign outside of the building says: “You are not alone.” They are not alone, and Seneca is not alone either. God provides in miraculous ways every day, through so many Angels - our supporters and volunteers.

First Fruits Friday - Breaking Through The Curse

This brave mother chose to obey God.  It was a very difficult decision. She was desperate, in crisis, scared and so confused. She was walking toward the steps of the abortion facility. The Devil preyed on her vulnerability and was determined to take away her baby girl, God’s gift to her. I walked with this mom during these difficult months, and God used me in so many ways to reach into her heart and help her. He touched the hearts of so many people around her and provided everything that was needed. By the time this mom felt her baby’s first kick in the womb, she recognized God’s love in this new life.
